Since its foundation in 1975, Viscofan has maintained a strong growth, both in activity and in multinational expansion. As a result, we are currently the leading company in both manufacturing and the distribution of artificial casings to the meat industry.

The origin and the headquarters of the company are in Navarra (Spain) and through several investments and acquisitions, the Group developed an international network of factories and commercial offices. Today we have industrial facilities in five countries and commercial presence in the main world markets.

Since 1988, Viscofan is also present in the tinned vegetables industry, through the acquisition of the IAN Group, with leader brands in asparagus, olives and tinned tomato.

		Viscofan Group manufactures and distributes most of the types of artificial casings, with a wide product range in celulosic, small diameter (edible) and big diameter (non edible) collagen and plastics.
