This innovative approach integrates casings made with plastic polymers in the new circular economy model, by reducing the amount of fossil resources required in the manufacture of new products.

It moves from a linear economy model to a more efficient model in which resources are kept in the production cycle for as long as possible, without losing their value and extending their useful life.

PLANT BASED

They are mono- or multilayer casings made with a proportion of raw materials attributed to biological origin.

An alternative to conventional 100% fossil-based plastic casings. Parts of the fossil-based resins are replaced by resins attributed to, e.g., by-products of the food or the paper industry.

Depending on the used polymers the biological content can be quantified or is attributed to the biological feedstock through the Mass Balance method, certified according to the rules of the ISCC PLUS system.

Has unique potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint of casings.

CHEMICALLY RECYCLED

They are mono- or multilayer casings produced with a percentage of raw materials attributed to recycled feedstock instead of fossil origin.

The casings are not made from mechanically recycled plastics.
Through an advanced method of chemical recycling, recovered post-consumer plastic is converted into feedstock for virgin-grade polymers.
A defined quantity of the polymers used are attributed to the recycled plastic feedstock through the Mass Balance method, certified according to the rules of the ISCC PLUS system.

With this, we are all contributing to shift plastic products from a fossil-based, linear economy, into a more sustainable, circular economy with an increasing usage of recycled materials.

eFAN´s packaging

eFAN articles contain a defined percentage of ISCC-compliant polymers, which are attributed to recycled (eFAN CR) and/or bio-based (eFAN PB) feedstock, according to an ISCC-compliant mass balance approach.

By using this casing, you support the circular economy and reduce the amount of fossil resources in the production of polymers needed for fabrication of casings. To further improve the sustainability of all our products and its packaging, please note:

Carton boxes, plastic boxes and their lids, inner plastic packaging, foils, nets, and metal clips are made from recyclable materials.

Help to strengthen the circular economy by guiding all these valuable packaging materials and products into their corresponding recycling systems after usage.
